Barriers in communication- language used
If the language that somebody uses is too simple then the listener will get bored, feel patronized and will not listen to what the speaker is saying.
On the other hand if the language that the speaker is using is too advanced then the listener will not understand a word that the speaker is saying and will not take any information in and will feel confused.
If the terminology that is being used is too advanced then the listener will be de-modivated as they will feel withdrawn.
The listener will also feel withdrawn if they do not understand acronymons asnd they will feel withdrawn and will not understand any of the information that is being given to them.
The listener may also not feel engages and loose interest because of the use of acronyms.
Another barrier in relation to the language used would be that the user may loose interest because their is sland terms being used and the listener may not understand what they mean.
Written communication is a barrier to communication. Their are many different written communication barriers that prevent someone from effectively communicating with someone.
If their is a lot of spelling errors then the reader may not understand what they are trying to say the words that are being used are spelled correctly.
If the wording is not grammatically correct the user will not be able to understand what the writer is trying to write. This will cause a huge barrier in the communication process.
Spelling and grammar errors can also make an organisation look very unprofessional. They can make people feel that the writer/organisation do not know what they are talking about and that they are unprofessional and not highly skilled.
Lack of good written communication will mean that the writer will find it difficult to structure a sentence correctly. This will make communnicating through written language nearly impossable.
If the writer does not know how to write or type then they will be unable to do communicate effectively in this way.

Lack of concentration barrier
Another barrier to effective communication would be lack of concentration. Their are a lot of reasons as to why their may be a lack of communication in a person.
If their is a physical distraction such as other people in the room talking then this may cause someone to find it hard to concentrate.
If their is a lot of noise outside of the room this can cause a massive lack of concentration as the person may be interested in finding out what is going on out side. This could include road works and other loud noises.
If someone is under some form of emotional distress or anxiety then they could lack concentration. They will not be able to concentrate on what is being said and may forget what the person is talking about because they are not focusing fully on the person and instead are distracted by thinking about what ever is worrying them.
If the subject that the person is communicating about is a subject that the person listening finds extremely uninteresting then they will loose concentration because they are not interested in what is going on and loose concentration.
They may also loose concentration if they become distracted by things such as mobile phones, social networking sites and other websites such as youtube.
The user may also not be able to concentrate and engage fully because they may be distracted in another form of way such as feeling to warm or they could feel sick or dehydrated.
